FAQ
What trees do you sell?
We have a well stocked selection of Norway Spruce and Nordmann Fir ranging from 4-12ft. We do have some smaller trees and some larger up to 16ft if you require these please contact us with your requirements as we usually cut these on request.
We do have some other varieties such as Scots Pine and Blue Spruce but these are not always available on our racks as there is limited stock.
We also have a selection of small pot grown trees either Norway Spruce or Nordmann Fir these are only up to 4ft in height including the pot, again stocks are always limited on these as these are not grown by us but another BCTGA grower.
Do you have a cafe on-site?
Unfortunately not, but we do have Penny’s Vintage Coffee Bar visiting us every weekend selling a variety of coffee and hot drinks, as well as snacks and cakes.
What price are the Trees?
The trees vary in price with the Nordmann Fir starting at £7.50 a foot and Norway Spruce at £4.50 a foot.
Do you recycle trees?
Yes, you can bring your real Christmas back to our site for recycling from the 27th December 2023. The gates will be open 10am – 4pm with the exception of 1st January 2023 when they will be closed all day. If for some reason you arrive or want to visit outside of these hours and the gates are closed, you can just throw it over the gate and we will collect them from there.
Do you do delivery?
Yes, we will be making deliveries from the 27th November until just before Christmas, see here for more details.
Can I cut my own tree down?
Unfortunately, we can’t allow people to cut their own trees down due to health and safety reasons. However, you can pick your own tree from the plantation and we will arrange to have it cut for you. If you do want to go into the field, please make sure you bring suitable footwear for the fields it can get very muddy and the terrain is unstable in places.
Can we bring our dog?
You are welcome to bring your dogs to browse the trees in the yard, but we respectfully ask you not to take dogs into the shop unless they are assistance dogs. Please remember to keep dogs on a lead at all times.
How can I pay?
We accept all major forms of cards except for AMEX, we also accept cash of course!
Do you have toilets?
Sorry, we don’t yet have toilet facilities at the farm for public use.
